What is in this section

• Multi-phase injection — the HF-RT-201 six-phase relay test set delivers 0–30 A per phase at 0.2 % ±5 mA, 0–180 A with all six phases paralleled, 320 VA per phase and 1800 VA in total (5 s maximum working time), over 0–1000 Hz at 0.01 Hz accuracy with harmonics up to the 20th order. The HF-RT-202 three-phase relay test set gives 0–90 A with the phases paralleled, 300 VA per phase and 800 VA total at a 10 s working time, and the HF-RT-203 single-phase set covers the simpler checks from AC 220 V with outputs of 0–100 A/7.5 V, 0–20 A/25 V and 0–5 A/5 V plus DC 0–220 V.
• Portable protection testing — the HF-RT-204 portable relay test set runs from a DC 16.8 V adapter or its 11200 mAh lithium battery, with four voltage channels (0–130 V phase, 0–250 V line) and three current channels of 0–15 A, rated at 30 VA or more, class 0.2 accuracy and output response under 100 μs. The HF-RT-214 protection relay secondary injection tester covers panel-side injection work.
• Specific relay families — the HF-RT-216 smart substation digital relay protection tester, the HF-RT-217 Buchholz relay tester, the HF-RT-208 overvoltage protection tester and the HF-RT-212 and HF-RT-213 thermal overload relay testers.

How to choose a relay test set

Confirm how many current channels the protection scheme needs, the maximum current you inject, whether testing happens at the panel or in the yard, and whether the test files must be exported. Sensitivity matters as much as maximum output: a set that cannot resolve current in the milliamp range will not test a sensitive earth-fault element properly.
