HF-CH-224 Mining Cable Marking Machine
The Mining Cable Marking Machine prints wear-resistant identification labels on mining cables. It enables clear cable classification, simplifies daily inspection, and helps maintenance staff rapidly distinguish cables and locate underground faults.
Send your requirements, we will quote for you within 12 hours
- The cable marking machine is developed and designed in accordance with the requirements of the National Ministry of Coal Industry for mining cable management.
- It is applied to cable management in coal mines, iron mines, drilling and well exploration projects.
- Note: This device is non-explosion-proof and cannot be used underground.
There is no need to pull cables indoors or adopt lead sheet marking and thermal mending. Simply bring the two cable ends to the machine (in warehouses, mine vehicles or yards) to complete marking. Serial numbers and length information can be printed in one operation. Labor-saving, time-efficient and automatic, it serves as ideal equipment for cable management.
Operation Instructions
- Unpack and inspect parts and meters for transportation damage; start operation if intact.
- Connect 220V power supply and reliable ground wire.
- Adjust wheels for required serial numbers, cross-section and length codes (4–240 mm²).
- Adjust sliding blocks according to cable cross-sectional area.
- Place cables on calibrated wheels and fasten the pressing mechanism (manual screw, hand wheel, manual hydraulic or fully automatic hydraulic). The machine only works when cables are tightly clamped.
- Switch on power and set temperature within 140–180°C.
- The machine will power off automatically once reaching target temperature with buzzer alarm. Reheat manually for better marking effect.
- When temperature drops to 40–60°C, release the support wheel or hydraulic valve and take out the cable.
It is suitable for marking cable tags of 4 mm²–185 mm². Character set includes digits: 0–9, letters M, X and symbols +, −, #, reusable repeatedly. Featuring long service life, sturdy structure and easy operation, it is essential maintenance equipment for coal mine cable workshops.
Product Structure & Features
- Automatic temperature control with fast heating; can reach 150°C within 20 minutes under normal conditions.
- Characters are aluminum alloy stamps, durable and reusable.
- Automatic constant-temperature control after setting target temperature.
The mining cable marking machine consists of character heads, electrical components, meters, temperature controller and infrared heating system. It is flexible to move, simple to operate with fast marking speed. Character heads are made of high-quality nickel-chromium alloy. Characters are arranged according to cable cross-section, length and serial codes. Marked characters are clear, wear-resistant and moderate in depth, meeting safety standards of power systems and coal mining enterprises.
FAQ for Mining Cable Marking Machine
Q1: What is the Mining Cable Marking Machine used for?
A: It embosses serial numbers, length and cross-section codes on mining cable ends for identification, convenient for coal mine cable classification and maintenance management.
Q2: Can this machine work underground in mines?
A: No. This equipment is non-explosion-proof and only suitable for ground workshops, underground operation is prohibited.
Q3: What cable cross-sections are supported?
A: Applicable for cables ranging from 4 mm² to 185 mm², adjustable sliding blocks fit different wire sizes.
Q4: What is the operating temperature range for marking?
A: Working temperature is set between 140°C and 180°C. It automatically cuts off power when the target temperature is reached.
Q5: How long does heating take normally?
A: Equipped with automatic temperature control and fast heating system; it can reach 150°C within about 20 minutes.
Q6: What character types can be printed?
A: Digits 0–9, letters M, X and symbols +, -, #. The character heads are aluminum alloy and reusable.
Q7: What power supply does the machine require?
A: Single-phase AC 220V power supply. Reliable grounding connection must be made before operation.
Q8: What clamping modes are available?
A: Multiple options: manual screw rod, hand wheel, manual hydraulic and fully automatic hydraulic clamping. Cables must be clamped tightly.
Q9: When can I take out the cable after marking?
A: Wait until the temperature drops to 40–60°C to remove the cable. Reheating helps achieve clearer marking.
Q10: What advantages does it have over traditional lead marking?
A: No need for lead sheets or thermal mending. Cable marking can be finished on-site outdoors, with serial number and length printed in one step.
