Product Overview

HF-LT-303 Post Insulator Ultrasonic Flaw Detector is specially designed to detect internal defects of post insulators based on ultrasonic testing principle. It transmits ultrasonic pulses into post insulators. When ultrasonic waves encounter internal defects such as cracks, inclusions and pores, reflection, refraction and scattering will occur. The flaw detector receives reflected waves and judges the position, size and property of defects according to travel time, amplitude and other waveform features.
It is widely used in power industry for high-voltage ceramic post insulators inside and outside power plants, substations, switching stations and series compensation stations. It also performs ultrasonic inspection on porcelain shells of circuit breakers, CT, PT (including CVT), arresters with outer diameter ≤150 mm to detect internal cracks, pores, inclusions, delamination, burning defects and prevent catastrophic failures, ensuring safe, reliable and economical operation of power grids.
