Battery Charge and Discharge Tester is specialized equipment for lead-acid batteries. It supports constant current charging, discharging, capacity detection and cyclic activation, effectively evaluating battery actual performance and reviving aging cells, widely adopted in power stations, UPS and communication power system maintenance.
Battery Charge and Discharge Tester — Feature List
- Supports multiple working modes: constant current discharge, constant power discharge, constant current charge, constant voltage current-limited charge, trickle floating charge, etc.
- Equipped with a 7-inch HD touch screen (1024×800 resolution). The multi-layer composite resistive touch panel delivers strong anti-interference performance against electromagnetic interference and transient pulses in power stations and battery rooms. The backlit panel ensures clear data display in all environments.
- Built-in multiple safety protections: overcurrent protection, short-circuit protection, over-temperature protection, reverse polarity protection and more.
- Multiple alarm functions. Real-time alerts and automatic discharge shutdown will be activated for abnormalities including overvoltage, undervoltage, out-of-range current and fan failure to protect the tester and related testing equipment.
- Intelligent operation design with quick connection ports for simple wiring. It automatically records data and performs intelligent analysis throughout the whole test without manual intervention.
- Parallel operation available. Multiple units can work in parallel to meet discharge current demands above 300A.
- Rapid capacity analysis function: residual battery capacity can be estimated through a 3–5 minute quick discharge test.
- Adopts polymer PTC resistors with low power consumption and strong anti-surge capability. It avoids overheating risks with high safety factors and automatic overcurrent self-protection.
- Charging system applies high-frequency PWM technology, equipped with built-in EMI surge protection circuit and microprocessor control technology.
- The main control board adopts high-performance ARM CPU from STMicroelectronics. Dual-CPU redundant design is adopted during discharging. The main CPU processes command operation, while the secondary CPU takes charge of alarm monitoring. Both CPUs lock output under emergencies; either CPU can cut off output to ensure testing safety and reliability.
- Presettable charge and discharge parameters. Built-in common templates for different battery types. Template data can be retained after power failure, enabling direct testing after power-on without repeated parameter setup.
- Professional supporting analysis software. It simultaneously displays voltage & current curves, cell bar charts and data tables. It can automatically generate Excel/Word files, support printing and export complete test reports.
