HF-TC-635 Automatic Open Cup Flash Point Tester is designed and manufactured in accordance with GB267-88 and GB3536-83 open cup flash point test standards.
Equipped with large-screen LCD display, it adopts computer to control the whole test process. It features automatic temperature rise control, automatic ignition sweeping, automatic flash point capturing, automatic result printing and automatic gas source shutoff.

Operation Procedure — Open Cup Flash Point Tester
1. Pre-test Preparation
- Place the instrument on a stable workbench without obvious airflow.
- Clean the test cup thoroughly with solvent and dry completely; no residual oil or impurities left.
- Connect AC 220V power supply. Link liquefied gas source and check for gas leakage.
- Pour sample into the test cup up to the marked level, avoid bubbles and overflow.
- Put the test cup into the heating chamber steadily.
2. Parameter Setting
- Switch on the instrument, the large LCD screen lights up.
- Select test standard GB267-88 / GB3536-83.
- Input expected flash point, sample number and operator information.
- Confirm printer status if printed report is required.
3. Start Automatic Test
- Press Start button; the test arm descends automatically.
- The instrument starts heating according to standard temperature rise curve.
- When approaching the expected flash point, the igniter automatically ignites and performs flame scanning.
- Once flash vapor ignition is detected, the tester automatically locks the flash point value, stops heating, extinguishes flame and cuts off gas source.
- The result can be displayed on screen and printed automatically.
4. Post-test Operations
- Wait until the heating chamber cools down. Take out the test cup carefully.
- Clean test cup, temperature sensor and ignition assembly.
- Close gas cylinder valve first, then shut down instrument power.
- Store the instrument in dry and ventilated environment.
