Equipment Introduction

HF-HG-308 series Adjustable High Current Generator is designed and manufactured for power authorities and industrial & mining enterprises to conduct current load tests and temperature rise tests on various switches, current transformers and other electrical equipment. After power-on, the required high test current can be obtained by adjusting the output voltage of the voltage regulator.

According to output current rating, this series adopts integrated or split structure. It features stepless adjustable output current, balanced current rise, wide load adaptability, reliable operation, easy operation and high safety. It is standard test equipment for current boosting and temperature rise tests in industrial and mining plants.

Operating Instructions

Wire the circuit according to the electrical schematic diagram. The equipment enclosure must be reliably earthed.
Switch on the power supply; the green indicator light on the control panel illuminates. Press the start button, the indicator lights up, and the current booster stands by for current output.
Rotate the voltage regulator clockwise evenly and observe the output current meter until reaching the target current. For higher measuring accuracy, connect a standard ammeter in series on instrument terminals.
If any abnormal condition occurs during testing, cut off power supply immediately. Do not restart the test until the fault is identified.
After completing the test, turn the voltage regulator back to zero, press the stop button to cut off power, disconnect the working power supply, then remove test cables to ensure safety.
