Overview of HF-MT-503 Meter Wiring Tester
Low‑voltage metering relates to electricity billing for every residential end‑user. Nevertheless, wiring errors still exist within the last‑100‑meter segment of residential distribution networks. Segmented authority management may cause mismatches between energy meters and end‑users, resulting in increased customer complaints for power grid operators.
Based on abundant field experience and proprietary technical capacity, our company has developed this user‑meter wiring identifier to solve the above‑mentioned problems.
The instrument consists of a master unit and slave unit(s).
The master unit transmits power‑line carrier signals and detects current pulse signals. It judges the position of each slave unit according to its incoming electrical parameters and captured current pulse signals.
Each slave unit receives power‑line carrier signals from the master unit, outputs pulse current on demand, receives response messages from the master unit, and displays feedback data.
