HF-LT-307 Intelligent Insulator Tester
This Intelligent Insulator Tester enables live-line quantitative resistance measurement for every single insulator. It identifies critically degraded insulators, records test data, and provides audible & visual dual alarms to prevent transmission line flashover accidents.
Send your requirements, we will quote for you within 12 hours
The insulation resistance of insulators on high-voltage transmission lines directly affects the safe and stable operation of power lines. Once insulators become zero-value or contaminated, they must be cleaned or replaced; otherwise, flashover and tripping failures may occur. Currently, numerous insulator testing methods and tools are available, yet most only deliver qualitative testing. They cannot accurately reflect the insulation condition of each single insulator and fail to support predictive maintenance.
The Live-line Insulator Resistance Tester (hereinafter referred to as the tester) is a high-performance instrument for quantitative detection and analysis of the existing degradation status of insulator strings. Featuring simple and rapid operation, it can accurately measure the resistance value of each insulator under live-line conditions. It effectively identifies insulators with leakage current that have not yet broken down and are at critical failure status. Test data can be recorded, stored and displayed in real time, and the tester triggers automatic alarms for low-value insulators.
Functions of HF-LT-307 Intelligent Insulator Tester
Live-line Testing
Adopting special technology, the intelligent insulator tester realizes resistance measurement for insulators under live conditions. It is no longer limited to offline testing and supports a wider range of applications.
Alarm Reminder
In accordance with power industry safety testing standards, insulators with resistance below 500 MΩ are defined as low-value insulators, which will trigger automatic alarms during testing. Compared with the first-generation model with audio alarm only, this unit adds visual light alarm to avoid insufficient alarm visibility during field and long-distance testing.
Data Storage & Query
The tester can save test results for subsequent historical data review. During storage, users enter tower number, circuit number, phase and string number following on-screen prompts before starting tests. The instrument automatically counts the number of tested insulators per string based on measured data.
To view records, press “Query” and “Browse Records”. Historical results will be displayed sequentially, and zero-value insulators are highlighted in red to remind operators.
