Model HF-GT-205 Digital Equipotential Bonding Tester, also known as Milliohm Meter or DC Earth Resistance Tester, adopts microprocessor technology and four-wire measurement method to deliver high precision and reliable safety performance.
It is a dedicated instrument for testing the bonding quality between metallic components including equipment casings, lightning arresters, ground beams, building structures, cabinet frames, steel bars, water pipes, windows, guardrails, radiators and assembly line frames. It can also measure the resistance between electrical equipment and grounding grids, transformer DC resistance, as well as contact resistance of switches and socket contacts. Widely applied in power systems, meteorology, computer rooms, oil fields, power distribution networks, railway transmission lines, gas stations, factory grounding grids and lightning protection projects. Additionally, it features DC and AC voltage measurement functions.
The complete set consists of main unit, monitoring software, test leads and communication cable. Equipped with a large LCD screen for intuitive readings, it can store up to 500 groups of measurement data. Resistance measuring range: 0.0001Ω ~ 30kΩ; DC voltage range: 0 ~ 1000V; AC voltage range: 0 ~ 750V. The supporting monitoring software enables real-time monitoring, historical data inquiry, curve display, threshold setting, audible alarm, as well as data retrieval, storage, report generation and printing.
