These terms describe how we quote, confirm and deliver orders. The terms that apply to your order are the ones stated on the quotation and the proforma invoice issued for that order.
Quotation
Quotations are answered within 12 hours. A quotation states the model, configuration, quantity, unit price, lead time and payment terms for that order.
Payment
Payment terms are agreed per order and confirmed on the proforma invoice. Payment details are only ever sent from the zhangxiaolong@houfengtrade.cn address — if you receive different bank details from another address, do not pay and contact us first.
Lead time and delivery
Lead time is confirmed per order. Packing and delivery terms are described on the shipping and delivery page.
Warranty
Instruments carry a one-year warranty covering failures under normal use and correct operation, handled first by remote troubleshooting, then by return and repair at our cost, then by free replacement if the instrument cannot be repaired. Full detail on the warranty page.
Cancellation
An order can be cancelled free of charge at any time before dispatch. Units built or configured specifically for your order cannot be cancelled once production has started, because the work has already been committed.
Returns
If you need to return an instrument, contact us first — returns are accepted only with prior written authorisation. Returned instruments must be unused and in their original packing, and the request must reach us within 14 days of delivery. Return freight is at your cost, except where the return is a warranty repair, in which case we pay it. Refunds cover the price of the goods and exclude the original freight.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the People’s Republic of China. Disputes that cannot be settled between us are subject to the courts at the seller’s place of business in Baoding, Hebei, China.
