The HF-MT-502 three-phase energy meter field calibrator is professionally developed for on-site inspection of operating status and fault diagnosis of metering devices in high-voltage power grids. Adopting high-precision built-in transformers and clamp-on transformers for signal sampling, the instrument enables technicians to measure meter errors and wiring faults rapidly, safely and reliably. It provides solid technical support for power utilities to detect electricity theft, leakage loss, troubleshoot metering defects, conduct accurate metering calculation and recover lost electricity charges.
This calibrator adopts a mainstream ARM processor with a 168MHz main frequency and 128M memory expandable to a 4G storage card. Equipped with a 7-inch high-definition color touch screen and an EmWin display interface, it delivers a user-friendly interface with simple operation and full-touch control (no physical keyboard required). It supports a complete file system for seamless data connection with computers.

Functions & Features

  • Detects errors of metering devices without power cut or rewiring of metering loops to judge equipment faults.
  • Measures voltage, current, power, phase angle, power factor, frequency and other electrical parameters to accurately locate faults in metering circuits.
  • Measures CT ratio error and phase angle (optional function).
  • Displays vector diagrams of three-phase voltage and current for intuitive identification of wiring errors on metering equipment.
  • Adopts clamp-on transformers for current loop measurement, allowing fast, convenient, safe and reliable testing without breaking the current circuit.
  • Tests comprehensive errors of reactive energy meters without altering existing wiring.
  • Integrated waveform display and harmonic analysis function. It displays voltage and current waveforms of each channel individually or simultaneously, analyzes the content and amplitude of the 1st to 32nd harmonics, and generates harmonic bar charts.
  • Built-in EmWin operating system with full Pinyin Chinese input support. The 7-inch true-color LCD supports full-touch operation and optional keypad control for ergonomic operation. Multiple electrical parameters can be displayed on one screen.
  • Supports DBF database query, USB flash drive data export, and direct opening of Excel files without dedicated backend software.
