Product Overview

Developed for measuring transformer iron core grounding current, this tester features outstanding anti-interference capability. Controlled by an ARM processor, it automatically completes self-check, data calculation and display procedures.
According to China power industry standard DL/T 596 Preventive Test Code for Electric Power Equipment, the normal operating core grounding current of transformers shall not exceed 0.1A. A transformer iron core is designed for single-point grounding only. If two or more grounding points emerge, a closed current loop will form between the core and the earth. The resultant large current up to tens of amperes will lead to local overheating or permanent burnout of the iron core. Timely detection of potential faults is critical to safe operation and routine maintenance of transformers.
Equipped with dual-layer magnetic shielding CT technology and zero-input impedance current measurement technology, the instrument is barely affected by external electric and magnetic fields, delivering high precision, stability and reliability.
