Product Introduction
HF-GT-216 Medical Earth Resistance Tester is used to measure the internal earthing resistance of electrical equipment, which refers to the contact resistance between the main earthing terminals of electrical devices. It is mainly applied to earth resistance testing of medical electrical equipment and complies with GB9706.1-2020 (IEC60601-1: 2012) medical standards.
Application Scope
- Medical devices: Various new medical instruments and supporting equipment, cardiac monitors, medical imaging devices, biochemical analyzers, sphygmomanometers, clinical thermometers and other household medical appliances
- Diagnostic and therapeutic equipment: X-ray diagnostic devices, ultrasonic diagnostic equipment, nuclear medicine devices, endoscope systems, ENT therapeutic instruments, low-temperature refrigeration equipment, dialysis treatment equipment, first-aid supplies
- Ward nursing equipment and appliances: Hospital beds, cabinets, surgical chairs, medical beds, etc.
- Auxiliary equipment: Medical nursing data and image processing equipment, rehabilitation aids and special appliances for the disabled
- Dental medical equipment: Dental diagnostic devices, dental surgical instruments, dental laboratory equipment
- Medical nuclear magnetic resonance equipment
Performance Features
- Testing time, test current and earthing resistance can be displayed simultaneously
- The leakage alarm resistance value can be continuously preset to facilitate testing operations
- Adopts four-terminal measurement method to eliminate the influence of contact resistance and realize high measurement accuracy
- Added open-circuit alarm selection function; users can decide whether to activate the open-circuit alarm
- Divider circuit is applied for resistance display, which eliminates the impact of mains voltage fluctuation and reduces dependence on power supply quality

Operation Instructions for Medical Ground Resistance Tester
Preparatory Work
Parameter Setting
Switch on the device power. Set the output test current within the range of 5~30A as required. Preset the leakage ground resistance alarm threshold according to medical safety specifications. Enable or disable the open-circuit alarm function based on test demands, and set the testing duration (select continuous testing by setting the time to 0.0s if needed).
Start Formal Measurement
Press the test start key. The screen will synchronously display real-time test current, elapsed testing time and measured ground resistance value. The four-terminal measurement structure automatically eliminates contact resistance errors to guarantee accurate readings.
Alarm Judgment & Result Recording
Once the measured resistance exceeds the preset alarm limit, the tester will trigger an audible and visual alarm to remind operators of unqualified grounding conditions. Record all test data for inspection archives.
Post-test Shutdown Steps
After finishing all tests, stop the testing output first, cut off the instrument power supply, disconnect the test wires and power cable, then tidy up all accessories for proper storage.
