Product Features
Sulfur hexafluoride (SF₆) is an insulating gas featuring non-toxicity, non-flammability and superior insulating performance. Its dielectric strength is far higher than that of conventional insulating gases, coupled with excellent arc-extinguishing capability, which makes it widely adopted in SF₆ electrical equipment. Nevertheless, SF₆ gas is costly, and toxic byproducts will be generated via its decomposition under the effects of electric arcs, electric sparks and corona discharge. For this reason, SF₆ gas must be recovered during the operation of SF₆ electrical apparatuses. This dedicated device is specially designed for the recovery and refilling of SF₆ gas during the manufacturing and maintenance processes of SF₆ electrical equipment.
