HF-CH-225 Live Single-core Cable Identification Tester is mainly used for identification of energized single-core cables at 35kV, 110kV, 220kV and 500kV. For safety operation, most single-core cables adopt single-end armored grounding, making conventional cable identifiers unable to complete identification work.
Adopting satellite time synchronization technology, this tester detects power frequency current and phase of energized single-core cables and analyzes current trends.
Users can accurately identify the target cable among multiple single-core energized cables to prevent severe accidents caused by mis-cutting live cables. Cable identification requires operation at both cable ends, and accurate cable number verification is mandatory. Staff memory cannot replace professional testing instruments.
HF-CH-225 eliminates near-end calibration; identification can start directly from both ends without repeated site travel, delivering fast and accurate results and greatly improving efficiency.
HF-CH-225 eliminates near-end calibration; identification can start directly from both ends without repeated site travel, delivering fast and accurate results and greatly improving efficiency.
Furthermore, by comparing current readings collected from two terminals, the instrument evaluates line conditions of the tested cable section. The current difference equals shunt loss current along the cable. If the loss current is high, leakage or electric theft may exist and requires troubleshooting.
The set consists of two receivers and two flexible current clamps. Lightweight and portable for easy field operation.
Receiver: Handheld unit equipped with a 3.5-inch color LCD, high-speed processor and GPS module. With refined algorithms, it continuously analyzes and displays cable current, phase and trend.
Measurable AC current range: AC 0.00A~2000A (50Hz/60Hz), phase range: 1°~360°.
Measurable AC current range: AC 0.00A~2000A (50Hz/60Hz), phase range: 1°~360°.
Flexible Current Clamp: Rogowski coil design with dynamic tracking capability for instantaneous cable current and trend detection. Inner diameter: 300mm, easy to carry and operate.
